Economics and Precipitation in Taos
This morning I received a news feed from a blogger that's coming to ski Taos for the first time at Christmas. Then I look at the weather report and fresh snow is due tonight and tomorrow. If we get five inches in town, it could be great for the skiers. We're a beautiful tourism destination all year, but a great deal of our annual volume is concentrated in the ski season. Let's hope for a lot more snow this year for skiers and for thirsty forests.
